A new three-bedroom alpine apartment, a short walk from the village piazza, with the whole of the Alpe Cimbra in front of the balcony.
Check dates →Folgaria is a lively, unmistakably Italian mountain village on a high plateau in the heart of the Alpe Cimbra, in the province of Trentino / Alto Adige. Not a purpose-built resort — a real place, where the main street fills up for the passeggiata and the pasticceria is busy long before the lifts open.
The centre of Folgaria is genuinely walkable from the apartment. Along the main street you'll find good restaurants, cafés, pizzerias, shops, two supermarkets and a gelateria. Order a cappuccino and a dolce at the pasticceria in the morning, an aperitivo on a terrace at six.
One hour from Verona airport, an hour and a half from Venice — or ten hours by car from the Netherlands.
Trento is 25 minutes away, Lake Lavarone 15, and the ski area starts a three-minute drive from the house.
Trentino Dreams occupies a floor of Villa Sofia, a new build finished in refined local timber. Inside it is quieter and more contemporary than the exterior suggests: oak floors, natural stone, a pastel-green kitchen, and two bathrooms with a clean, spare design.
The heart of the apartment is the lounge — a large leather Butterfly chair, an oak dining table with black Revolt chairs, and a white Foscarini Spokes pendant overhead. It is a room built for a long lunch, a board game, or a book while the weather does whatever it likes outside.
Long days on the plateau: forest trails straight from the village, lakes warm enough to swim in, and cities within easy reach when it gets hot down in the valley.
The Folgaria–Lavarone–Luserna ski area begins three minutes from the door: 104 km of piste, 30 lifts, and enough snow cannon to make the season reliable.
The Touring Club Italiano named Folgaria its number one winter sports destination for the quality of its pistes, lifts and facilities. Prices stay reasonable, the queues stay short, and lunch is still Italian.
Plus a €150 cleaning fee per stay.
Shorter stays and specific dates: just ask.
Christmas and New Year are already taken for 2026/27.
We know the plateau well — the walks, the huts, the quiet weeks and the busy ones. Write to us and we'll think it through with you.
